NEW LAW: Montana’s Minimum Wage to Increase January 1, 2019

Montana employers, mark your calendars!

The Montana Department of Labor recently announced that on January 1, 2019, Montana’s minimum wage will increase from $8.30 to $8.50 per hour for employers with gross annual sales over $110,000.00. The minimum wage rate for employers with gross annual sales of $110,000.00 or less will remain at $4.00 per hour.

It is recommended that all affected Montana employers prepare for these increases and be on the lookout for the new Montana minimum wage poster (which has not yet been created).
